15th Annual General Meeting of the Nepal Hyolmo Women Association Successfully Concluded 11 Asoj 2082 B.S. (27 September 2025) The 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nepal Hyolmo Women Association – Central Committee was successfully held at Hyolmo Gumba, Tinchuli bringing together members, leaders and distinguished guests to review the organization’s achievements and strengthen its commitment to empowering Hyolmo women. The program was graced by Mr. Binod Lama Hyolmo, the first diplomat from the Hyolmo community as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was further honored by the presence of distinguished guests including Ms. Pemba Lama Hyolmo, the first Hyolmo woman elected as a Member of Parliament and Member of the Second Constituent Assembly; Ms. Renjen Dolma Hyolmo, Central President of the Nepal Hyolmo Social Service Association (Hyolmo Sangh), the umbrella organization of the Hyolmo Indigenous community; Mr. Ang Dawa Hyolmo, social worker and architect; and Ms. Nima Yangchhen Hyolmo Immediate Past President of the Nepal Hyolmo Women Association. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Kinjo Omu Hyolmo, President of the Nepal Hyolmo Women Association while the proceedings were moderated by Ms. Mingmar Omu Hyolmo General Secretary. During the assembly, the Annual Progress Report presented by General Secretary Ms. Mingmar Omu Hyolmo and the Financial Report presented by Treasurer Ms. Chho Pema Hyolmo were discussed and unanimously approved by the members. The Annual General Meeting concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by President Ms. Kinjo Omu Hyolmo, who expressed sincere appreciation to all members, supporters, past and present leaders and well-wishers for their invaluable contributions and continued dedication to advancing the mission of the Nepal Hyolmo Women Association. The successful completion of the 15th Annual General Meeting reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to empowering Hyolmo women, preserving Indigenous culture and heritage, promoting inclusive leadership, and serving the community with unity and dedication.
